Copyediting is detailed edits for technical errors (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.), style, and internal consistency. I specialize in fictional novel-length and short story pieces. I charge $8 per thousand words, so a novel-length project is about $400. You will receive a format-ready manuscript.

Book interior formatting is the design and format of the interior of the book. I specialize in fiction pieces of novel length. It is $100 up front to cover the cost of the first meeting (a discussion of the details of style preference), and of a sample chapter. For $6 per thousand words, you will receive a print-ready document with up to four rounds of changes, including any changes to make after proofreading.

Proofreading catches any last-minute grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors before they are immortalized in print. I specialize in fiction pieces of novel length. For $6 per thousand words, you will receive a print-ready document.
